A regular table in notion without pages for each of the table items - how to do it?

There is a wonderful text editor for notes - Notion. How to create a table there so that each item in the table does not have its own page?
I'm worried about the speed of work. For example, if there are 500 items in the table + each of them notion will create its own page (which I don’t need at all), then I believe that the speed of work will slow down dramatically.
