A new database or an old one when transferring from domain to domain on the same hosting?
A quick question: why create a new database when migrating? I think it's understandable if the transfer is from host to host. And if within the same hosting, then probably these troubles are not needed?
I would like to hear an argumentative answer.

Works - do not climb.
But if positions in search engines are important, then it is advisable to hold the 301st redirect from the old domain to the new one for a couple of weeks.
Good. Thank you. Now with a new DB has tried - earned. At that time, for some reason, only the old site worked, as if a part was lost during export. Who knows why it was like that at that time, but it made me think about the need to park with a new database in case of such glitches, if there is no direct need to create it.
