A modern xcode book?

Good day to all,
a regular question: what to read on xcode?
I decided to learn objective-c, I'm looking for books for the little ones I
started reading macscripter.ru/uploads/files/BecomeAnXcoder.Russian.pdf
everything is fine, good until the chapters about GUI start - there is a wild discrepancy with the current version of xcode 4.6.3
tell me what to read in digital / paper
, thank you in advance for the answers

In Russian, you are unlikely to find something fresh.

For Obj-C, here is developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/ProgrammingWithObjectiveC/ProgrammingWithObjectiveC.pdf
In Russian, I once read “Objective-C 2.0 and programming for Mac.” - Mark Dalrymple, Scott Knaster
the basics are kind of described there, but it seems there was nothing about ARC plus about new things in the syntax - literals for collections, etc.
If the goal is to program under iOS, then you can see something else www.apress.com/9781430245124

For beginners, this book is good:

2013, more or less fresh information and is told in a simple way.

Stanford has been running a good course for beginners for several years now:
itunes.apple.com/ru/course/coding-together-developing/id593208016?l=en
Downloaded for free from iTunes U.
Even the first few lectures turned out to be much more useful for me than the best books by iOS.

The best iOS book author is undoubtedly Jeff Lamarche. He has a blog , as well as books for both the youngest and advanced developers. I recommend reading it, and of course, only the latest books (for iOS6). The books immediately describe the creation of applications for iOS, and the basics of Xcode, with which you still have to suffer (although not in the same way as I once did)

I advise you to read guides from Apple. There you can find many times more than in books. For example: introductory guide , views , tables . Here are all the guides.
