A couple of questions about fiber optics?

Good afternoon.
There is such a MGTS box.

That's where the "glass tube" is, is it possible to somehow "interrupt, break" the connection?
Send some kind of "beam, laser" or something else ...
In simple words, turn the Internet on or off.
PS Maybe someone worked at MGTS, tell me how the "wiring" is carried out along the entrance?
1. There is a cable
2. There are a lot of "wires" in it
3. In each "wire" there are N number of optical fibers . Is
the number of "wires" in the cable standard or specially for the entrance?
If there are 64 apartments in the entrance, 4 apartments per floor, then there are 16 "wires" in the cable, 4 optical fibers each?

In this glass bulb, an optical fiber is simply welded. Most likely, it is opaque to the light that you want to interfere with.
This is a multi-mode cable, it is stupidly cheaper. The number of mods is standard. A lot of Internet goes through it, which is then divided on some industrial switch.
nope.
