2 operating systems on PC. virtualbox?

I do programming. I want to put + Linux, because. it is very necessary, but also it would be desirable to leave Windows. As far as I know, there may be some problems with the video card. If anyone has experience, please advise.
Features:
CPU - Core i7-7700HQ
RAM - 16GB (SO-DIMM DDR4, 2400MHz)
SSD - Samsung 960 Evo series 250GB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 3D V-NAND TLC
Hard Drive - 1TB SATA 7200
Video Card - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5
Is it better to use VirtualBox or are there any other solutions?

VirtualBox is great. There were no problems with the video card.
The hypothesis is tested in an hour. Download vbox and download linux.

It also depends on which graphical shell under Linux you will use, if heavyweight Unity or Cinnamon (or whatever is fashionable with whistle-blowings now) - then under a virtual machine it will naturally slow down and eat a lot of memory. And if it’s lightweight like OpenBox, then there will be little to eat, and without Xs with a bare console, even less (Linux itself can even fit into 64MB of memory if desired, except for application programs)
