1C Bitrix - how to set which components should be displayed when installing the template?

I'm trying to make the first template on Bitrix, and so far everything is just awful, there is no documentation anywhere. How can I make sure that all the components that I add to the template during installation are also installed in the same order, etc.? Does Bitrix have any function that works when a template is installed, for example, to set the settings right away?
