On the 1st photo, everything works as it should, but on the second one, there is neither a widget on the right, nor a normal sorting

You may have broken the topic. Or put some kind of curve plugin.
Bring back the default theme. Try disabling plugins.
Storefront is a very stable and high-quality theme without children's sores. If you don't break anything.
