A few questions for a novice coder?

I have been studying layout, JS, jQuery for about a year and a half. I want to finally make some money. I read on the Internet that you first need to place orders on the stock exchange for free, but for good reviews. Make a portfolio - a personal website and a couple of layouts.
My questions may seem silly, but the worst question is not asked.
1. If in my “resume” or profile, I don’t know what to call it, on the exchange there will be: “I make business card sites, one-pagers”, does this mean that I will have to fill the site with content myself, come up with a design, or the customer will hire other specialists in this part? Should I just post what I received?
2. How to pull a site on СMS? Where to dig? I don’t know anything in this area
