How can I find out if the CHAP Challenge option is enabled in pppoe at the provider?

I'm on arch linux and would like to know if the CHAP Challenge option is enabled on the provider I'm using. How to do it from the command line?

If you have a program for pppoe session login (and you should have one - otherwise you won't be able to use the provider's services), then you need to run this program, telling it to "use only CHAP Challenge".
Or you can call the provider's support.
