Exchange likes on instagram, how to solve the issue with the API?

Good day, dear users! I plan to develop a simple system for exchanging likes between users, but there was a dilemma with api, because after reading the documentation at the link https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api... I found out that you need to go through all these steps and send a screencast (how the application will work, why use the Instagram API). But the question is - how can I show the operation of the application without access to the API (only authorization through facebook), and also did not find in the documentation whether I will have access to such functions as downloading a certain publication and marking "I like" it.
Perhaps some of you have come across the Instagram Graph API and know how to solve the problem, so far I see only the opening of a modal window (IFRAME) with a photo area on Instagram and liking it directly on the site itself (by the user), and then through the script check whether the like was put or not, but maybe there are other options?
